Introduction
Beaconhouse is thrilled to announce the inaugural Beaconhouse Artificial Intelligence Film Festival (BAIFF), a unique platform that celebrates creativity at the intersection of filmmaking and artificial intelligence. The festival aims to showcase innovative short films that integrate AI techniques into text, audio, and video. BAIFF invites students from around the globe to submit their creations and compete for prestigious awards, including the Best Film Award, Best Director Award, and Audience Choice Award.





Science Fiction
Explore futuristic scenarios, advanced technology, and speculative worlds, with AI as a subtle or transformative tool in the background.
Fantasy
A genre for storytelling where AI can support creating mystical worlds, magical creatures, and imaginative settings that go beyond reality.
Documentary
Use AI to help tell real-life stories or dive into topics like history, culture, or social issues, adding depth and creativity to factual storytelling.
Mystery/Thriller
Build suspenseful stories with unexpected twists, using AI tools to enhance the atmosphere, set the mood, or even provide clues through visuals or audio.
Comedy
Create lighthearted, funny stories where AI-generated characters, voices, or scenes add a humorous twist, making characters or scenarios more playful.
This theme invites filmmakers to explore the intricate and evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and the human experience. It encourages the creation of ad films that delve into the impact of AI on our lives, society, and the very fabric of our reality.

Submission Guidelines
Age (17-20) years at the time of registration.
Students will submit proof of age at the time of registration.
- Films must be 3-5 minutes in duration.

- Voice Generation and Synthesis
- Text-to-Speech Conversion
- Text-to-Image Generation
- Text-to-Video Generation
- Image Transformation and Translation
- AI-Powered Video Editing
- Animation Software and Tools
- Motion Tracking and Capture
- Lip Synchronization
- AI-Enhanced Video Editing and Finishing
Participants are required to demonstrate the use of these AI tools by submitting supporting evidence, such as video recordings, screenshots, or other forms of verification.
- Students will submit their work at the time of registration.
- Confirmation of rights for all aspects of the submission.
- Granting the Organiser rights to use the submission as specified in the Official Rules.
- Indemnification of the Organiser against any expenses, damages, or losses related to the submission.
- Granting an exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to the Organiser for specified uses.

- Top 10 submissions shortlisted based on judges’ scores will be screened.
- Online Film Screening will be held via Vfairs Platform.
- Winners will be announced on V fairs and Rise website/ Social Media Platforms.
- The decisions of the jury shall be final.
